and techniques that include acupuncture principles, acupressure, Touch for Health stems from Kinesiology, the study of the principles of mechanics and anatomy related to human body movement, specifically the action of individual muscles or groups of muscles that perform specific movements. Applied kinesiology involves muscle testing to assess a client’s condition. Tanya likes to begin her sessions with a Touch for Health 12 muscle balance. This ensures that all 12 meridians (lung, spleen, heart, liver, etc.) are balanced and ready to accept the massage and bodywork performed. She believes the bodywork has a great effect on the body and mind when all systems are working together in harmony.

organ malfunction exists. Once weak muscles are determined, a variety
of methods are used as part of a muscle strengthening program. Such
